One year of Leonard

My sweet little Leonard is turning one tomorrow! March 22nd.

This year has gone by so incredibly fast, crazy busy, but the best year.

Little Leo is one of the coolest babies I know.  He started walking just before 9 months and is practically running laps around us now.  He's got the cutest grin with his 8 teeth and knows how to work you with it.

I could go on and on about how adorable, and special this little boy is, but i'd rather just look at pictures of him.

So happy to have this little guy in my life and in our family. 💓💓💓

30 years of Me

I'm 30!!

Yes you heard that right. Thirty with a capital "T" that rhymes with "P" and that stands for perfect!
If you know Music Man you'll have that song in your head now, you're welcome. :)

30 always seemed like such a huge number when I was a kid, I definitely don't feel like a huge number, now that I am that "huge" number.

I recently wrote a post about turning 30 for East Valley Moms Blog: Is turning 30 really so bad?  if you want to take a read on that too. I have a few of my friends point of views on the post as well.  Its a good read. :)

I don't know about you but I think I look pretty good for being so old. ;)

I got so much birthday love from messages, texts, phone calls, friends dropping off treats, and gifts. It was a lovely chill day.  Nothing elaborate, nothing planned, did some work, ran some errands, ate some food.  Enjoyed the life I've lived so far and am looking forward to the next 30 years of life.

Day to Night: An attempt at fashion

Good morning! Good Monday!

Its Mommy Style Monday once again, and the topic this time around is a day to night look.

Lets be real this is gonna be a short and sweet post.  When it comes to making a look I'd be wearing during the day to the potential of going out at night has little to no change. 😭🙈

Number one in anything I wear is comfort, then, is it clean, then, I think about the fashion part.

Some of my favorite clothes for comfort is no surprise, Lularoe.  Dang it to heck, they make some cute comfy clothes.

For this post I'm wearing one of my favorite Lularoe shirts.

Shirt: Lularoe Perfect Tee
Black Leggings: Walmart
Sandals: Thrifted american eagle knock-off berks
Bracelet: goody hair tie

I'll happily run quick errands, drive to sonic, clean, and lounge on the couch watching Hulu in my comfy day look. Bonus, is i'll look put together is anyone randomly pops by, which happens frequently. :)

On to bring my day look to night... don't blink or you'll miss the difference. ;)

Shirt: Lularoe Perfect Tee
Jeans: Walmart
Sandals: Thrifted american eagle knock-off berks
Bracelet: goody hair tie

I told ya.  I really don't change much when I'm going out and need to fancy myself up.  I just throw on a pair of jeans and call it good, if i'm lucky and no big spills happened on my shirt during the day of course. If you remember my past Mommy Style Post about accessories, I normally don't. Comfy and plain. Just the way I like it. :)

Don't forget to check out my way more fashionable Mommy Style Mommy friends day to night looks.

4 Years of Camden

Camden is just one of those boys where when you meet him he just melts your heart.  He is stubborn and learning but he has a heart of gold.  From my squishy 8lb 10oz baby to a full blown 4 year old now. He is a social butterfly and is a friend to everyone he meets and just wants to share all the love he can. Always cracking jokes and laughing about something, his personality just keeps getting better.

I learn so much from this fast growing little boy every day.  I am so grateful he is mine and bring so much joy to our family.

I can't wait to see him grow more in this next year.

Now enjoy random pictures of my sweet Camden through the years.

Zoo Day

photo c/o Phoenix Zoo

This last week I was able to go to the Phoenix Zoo with some fellow East Valley Mom Blog friends for a special tour.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this tour was above and beyond anything I could have expected.

We got up close and personal with the Orangutans, Momma & baby. They love crystal light squirted into their mouths with a spray bottle. My kind of mammals!

Spent time talking with the workers that feed and go into the alligator area.  I was kinda super nervous for them but they were calm and cool.  The alligators can probably smell fear.

We got to feed the stingrays little fish and shrimp! According to the stingray trainers shrimp is like cookies to them. It was so fun to see Camden jump right up and be the first to get his hand in the water and have s stingray suck food right our from his hand.

We also go to feed and get in the tortoise enclosure.  This lovable tortoise was named Junior, once she saw we were there she slowly turned around and wanted all the love and veggies. Leo really wanted to grab at Junior but even though they are slower you gotta watch out for that beak. They'll getcha! :)

It was a perfect amazing day at the zoo and it was amazing to experience the Phoenix Zoo in such a different way.  I'm gonna want a tour every time I go now! It was so amazing and was so grateful I was able to go and enjoy the experience with my boys and with my EVMB friends.
